For retired agents: one referral becomes several commissions
For active agents: one listing becomes several listings
Because one referral given, can be several referrals received.

How this is calculated
Referable tracks future business after the first referral.
If you referred John, Gill and Henry to a realtor, you're actually referring…
By tracking this future business, retired agents can get paid from it.
In the example above, instead of just getting 3 × 25% referral fees, it's 3 × 25%, 5 × 20%, 5 × 15%, 3 × 10%.
250% in referral fees instead of 75%.
Very worst case, zero referrals go and refer other people, but the retired agent still get paid for the first referral.
And… active agents get listing leads, with no upfront capital or time invested — just referral fees paid on closing.

Frequently asked questions
Revenue share programs, such as eXp Rev Share, pay agents a percentage of income earned by the agents they recruit into the brokerage. In other words, it lets agents make money from the agents they know.
Referable however lets agents earn from clients they know — agents are paid based on the number of clients which come from the referrals they give.
Both can be used together: an agent can earn from their agent network through a Rev Share program, and earn from their past clients through Referable.
Under federal law, in a pyramid scheme, participants pay "money to the company in return for which they receive (1) the right to sell a product and (2) the right to receive in return for recruiting other participants into the program rewards which are unrelated to the sale of product to ultimate users."
Referable does not charge users — it's a free platform. Referable does not pay users for recruiting other users. All referral fees are payable upon completion of a legitimate financial transaction (the sale of property), not from recruitment.
No. Referable tracks referrals on behalf of agents, to indicate what a referral is worth to the original referring agent, based on the referral fees set out in the Referral Partnership Agreement.
Referral fee payments are arranged through the respective brokerages of both agents in the referral partnership, following all brokerage referral fee protocols and customs.
Referable requires all users to fill out the Referral Partnership Agreement, which sets out the following terms:
Retiring agents agree to give Active agents exclusive referral access to their Sphere of Influence.
Active agents agree to pay referral fees as agreed upon by both agents at the start of the contract — eg. 25%, 20%, 15%, 10%.
There are plenty more clauses designed to protect the interests of both agents within the Referral Partnership Agreement, as well as a definition of what storage and data usage rights Referable App has regarding proprietary user data.
The platform is free to all users — it is open source.
Retired agents and Active agents can leave their partnership at any time, with 14 days notice provided, without reason given.
However, Active agents cannot rejoin the platform once they leave, except for in exceptional circumstances listed in the Referral Partnership Agreement, whereas Retired agents can rejoin the platform at any time.
Active agents cannot rejoin once they leave, to prevent them repeatedly partnering with different Retiring agents to extract the contact information from their SOI for their personal gain, without being beholden to the compensation terms laid out in the Referral Partnership Agreement.
No. All the boring or time-consuming stuff is automated.
